REACT Response Vehicles

Our 4x4 response vehicle carries a crew of five as well as specialist equipment that can be used to assist in rescues on water, mud or ice.

The equipment carried includes an Inflatable Rescue Dingy with outboard motor & paddles, Rescue Throwlines, Rope Access Kit & Rescue Helmets, Ferno Heated Casualty Rescue Bag, Ferno Scoop Stretcher, Ferno Basket Stretcher with helo lift strops, Head Huggers, Stiff Neck Collars, First Aid Kit, Life Jackets, Ladder, Sledge Hammer, Kitted Search Bags, Loud Hailer, 5 x Full sets of water rescue PPE.

The response vehicle can be sent out on its own or it can tow either the Dell Quay Boat or the Water Rescue trailer.

The water rescue trailer carries an extra Inflatable Rescue Dingy, rescue lines, life jackets and bouyancy aids.

We also have a Land Rover 110 4x4 which can also be used to tow our boat or water rescue trailer.

This vehicle can also assist with the delivery of humanitarian aid such as medical, water, food supplies into flooded areas.
